Perfect For US History
I made this crossword puzzle with US History lessons in mind - something that would be fun trivia to go along with learning about our past leaders.
This could be used any time of year, but printing out around President's Day would be fun!
Fun For Any Age!
While this is typically for middle school or high school students, anyone interested in presidents and the white house will enjoy these trivia questions.
I split all the crosswords into three puzzles to help students who might need bigger boxes and bigger print. This makes each presidents crossword puzzle more accessible for younger kids as well.
Learning About The US Presidents
Each clue is a trivia fact about a specific leader, and each president is only listed once. Each page runs chronologically, separating the office dates into three eras. So the first page lists the 1st-15th presidents, page 2 lists the 16th-30th, and the last page lists the 31st-Current President.
I got most of the facts from one of our favorite Smithsonian books, The Presidents: Visual Encyclopedia. So, if you're stumped, it's worth finding that book to flip through. It's a great book to have in general - an easy one to pick up and flip around to any page for fun facts.

It can be fun to solve the clues through research, but I also get that teachers might just want to know what the answer is!
